Getting to Essen

From the arrival at Terminals A, B and C take the
SkyTrain to
Düsseldorf Airport Station. Go on with one of several trains to
Essen HBF (Essen Main Station) like the
RE1,
RE2,
RE6 or
S1. It will take you about 30min(RE) to 1h (S1).

Getting to the Conference Venue

By Public Transport

From Essen Main Station take the underground U11 (direction: "Essen Messe West-Süd/Gruga") from platform 2. It will only take about 5 minutes to the station "Essen Messe Ost/Gruga-Halle" where you have to leave the train and stay right to exit B, Messe/Gruga Grugahalle. The Atlantic Conference Hotel is directly in front of you (about 150m to walk). On your way back to the main station please take U11 directed to "Gelsenkirchen Buerer Straße".

By Taxi
You can also take one of the taxis from the main station. The price is approximately 10-15€.

By Car
If you travel by car, you can park in the hotel-owned underground carpark or on the parking lot "P1" directly in front of the hotel.
