Eleventh International Workshop on Requirements Engineering: Foundation for Software Quality
|
 |
Now in its eleventh year, REFSQ is a highly interactive forum for researchers and practitioners to address the problem of ensuring software quality through requirements engineering (RE). The last decade has seen improvements in our understanding of RE with better practices supported by better techniques, methods and tools. Despite these successes, many quality-related problems remain, while new challenges for RE constantly emerge. REFSQ seeks reports of innovative work in RE that contributes to the achievement of higher software quality. In particular, we encourage people from the requirements engineering, software engineering, information systems, and embedded systems fields to present their approaches to RE.
Themes
Submissions may be on any aspect of RE and its relation to other fields, for instance:
Understanding and improving RE processes, RE method engineering
RE for special needs (web services, mobile appliances, open source development, ubiquitous computing, etc.)
 Social issues in RE
 Innovation-driven RE
 RE economics
Case studies, experience reports and industrial problem statements are particularly encouraged.
Workshop Format and Submissions
To maintain REFSQ's tradition of productive interactivity, attendance is limited to 30 people. Each attendee must be an author of an accepted paper. Three types of papers are solicited: full papers (15 pages max, 12 recommended), position papers (6 pages max) and industrial problem statements (6 pages max). See guidelines for authors for further details. The workshop language is English.
Submissions should be in PDF (A4 page size), formatted in LNCS style and sent by e-mail to: refsq@sse.uni-essen.de.
